This track is an embellished adaptation of Bach's famed "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" (aka Toccata und Fuge). If you

don't know the song by the title you likely will recognize it when my track opens for sure.

For the piece the entire piece has been re-composed and embellished for "rock/metal" guitar riffing, because well... this

is a rock track.. I've given it a metal edge and added a half-time semi-melodic guitar solo right down the middle. While

you may not hear it beyond the intro of the song, (which is also embellished as far as the timing being adjusted for a more

rock vibe), the entire track is a twisted re-composition of the original piece, much of of that re-comp again done around

the timing. Meaning the triplet verse sections for example have been changed to a quarter-note feel and vibe etc. with a

harmonized accompaniment guitar added.

All that said... Crank it up!!!! and enjoy. I suggest some padding on the wall to avoid hurting your head from all the

banging.. And it goes without saying... "happy Halloween".!!!

This is the 11th annual "JFRocks Halloween" guitar rocker.. This track is an embellished adaptation of Bach's famous evil piece titled "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" (aka Toccata und Fuge). If you don't know the song by the title you likely will when my track opens for sure.

"Deranged" is a serious Hard Rock Guitar Instrumental piece, produced for the 8th annual http://JFRocks.com "JFRocks Halloween" track. This year I went in a more original song direction rather than semi-cover song based. Had a lot of fun with the Locrian and Phrygian modes on this track, creating a feisty mix of EVIL and almost danceable grooves. Cut down the middle with a rippin' and in some spots haunting guitar solo, this track is surely another one worth blowing some speakers over.

The sound on this track comes from the MXR Stereo Chorus coupled with my old Marshall JCM 800. It's wide stereo mix is worth cranking up to 11, to experience all the little things that go into this 38 track monster.

"Funeral Death March", recorded for http://JFRocks.com 's annual "JFRocks Halloween" guitar track, tab, and often lesson update. This track is taken from the classic "Funeral March". The main chorus riff of the track is only slightly embellished from the original track, but the rest of the song is pretty much a dark evil free for all utilizing embellished pieces of the original track. Typically when I embellish I do it through chord substitutions and what I call "replaced riffing". This track is also cut down the middle with a quirky and somewhat off the wall improvised guitar solo. The first half of the solo is over a wicked Drop D guitar riff, and the second half is essencially over the intro/verse arpeggio chord change riff.

All that aside, as always, CRANK IT UP!!. This track is perfect to crank at your Halloween party, or just to scare the crap out of some kids. In either case have a great Halloween, and I hope everyone enjoys and cranks this "JFRocks Halloween 2014" track.
