- TwEAT me"TwEAT me" was produced for a TV pilot although I also handed it off to an indie-film, so where she lands nobody knows I suppose. In any case, this track has some serious shuffle groove going on with some wicked swing happening. But the bridge part is very shred based and more laid back.As always the song title relates to some happening in my life during my week or the recording process itself. In this case it's all about Twitter, and the ups and downs associated with it. While I love connecting with people and hearing from followers, I don't always like it. Depends on the person really, but there in lies the title, a little word-play on Tweet, and the catch-phrase "Eat me". Pretty much sums it up.As always enjoy.. - Yesterday's girl"Yesterday's Girl" was recorded for an indie-film project I'm currently the composer on. This track has some pretty obvious Led Zeppelin influences, including but not limited to a real Dazed and Confused vibe. However the key, tempo, and changes are vastly different. The track was mixed with Led Zeppelin in mind however as that's what the producers of the film wanted. They want it, they get it. That's how I roll.This track is a mood piece. Tracks like this are designed to create a vibe all their own to fit around a specific scene. For this song I highly suggest using the title as a way to set the mood for yourself as the film isn't yet completed. Usually my titles have some meaning or relate to the song in some way, and with this track, that's the case, but I prefer you draw your own conclusions as to what the title might mean to you specifically.Enjoy and as always I'm happy the film producers allowed me to share it online. - Better than AliceRecorded at Malibu studios on a wickedly windy night by the sea, "Better than Alice" was composed and recorded for a TV pilot project. This track has some serious vibe to it and I think a great groove. - Doo-wah'pOpening with some true "greaser" finger snaps, "Doo-wah'p" is a guitar-riffed out take on classic 50's and early 60's Doo-Wop. Typically of course a more vocal based genre of music, I've taken many of the classic melody patterns and transposed them into rich guitar hooks and harmonized lead sections.
