In the Old Testament, when God hears prayers, He answers prayers. In God's pursuit to use Jonah for His purposes, He hears and answers Jonah's prayer. No matter where you are and what situation you are in, God will hear your prayer as you re-committ yourself to His purposes for your life.

As we look at the life of Jonah, we see a God who pursues the lost, pursues Jonah, and also pursues us in order that He might receive the ultimate glory from His mercy.

Today’s teaching topic focusses on God’s authority in the life of the believer from Mark chapters 4-5. From the text we will see what happens when we respond completely to God’s revelation of his son, Jesus Christ.
