幾點開會?
十一點開始,在第一會議室。
meeting是「會議」、「集會」的意思，不過，給人的感覺 不像conference 那麼正式。
然而在運動會這類場合，就不用meeting，而要用meet: 田徑賽稱為a track and field meet，運動會可以說成an athletic meet 或a sports meet。
開會之前，若能將當天的議題事先發給與會者，會議就能進行得很順利。
It'll start at 11:00~的start，也可以換成begin。
表示「首先」、「第一」的慣用說法是 to start with，用在 meeting 開始要說話的時候:
To start with， I must tell you that the president won't be here today.
(首先我要告訴各位，總裁今天不會出席。)
