“One of the key writers of the indictment, Norm Eisen, is a feckless political hack who is now boasting he wrote the de-classification rules while he worked for President Obama with Executive Order 13526. Eisen is being mischievous and dishonest with his op-eds. There is no higher person with de-classification authority than a President. If a President de-classifies verbally, or by any means, the document is de-classified. EO 13526 does not trump the Presidential Records Act either. Without a full and immediate accounting of every classified document in the possession of Obama, Bush, Clinton, and all other Post World War II Presidents, the whole affair is a fraud.
