About the Author
Larry Tracy, now a highly regarded speech coach, is a retired Army colonel. He's a graduate of St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, and earned an MA in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University. His overseas assignments included three years in Vietnam, one year based in Argentina on a traveling fellowship throughout Latin America, and two years as Army Attache to the US Embassy in Bolivia, the subject of his MA thesis. He was then assigned to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in the Pentagon, and selected to be the Senior Intelligence Briefer to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In a subsequent assignment to the Office of the Secretary of Defense he was deeply involved in developing US policy in Latin America. After speaking widely for the Pentagon on this policy, he was detailed by the White House to the State Department and participated in over 200 debates and adversarial panels on college campuses and to contentious audiences throughout the country. It was these encounters that caused him develop the S3P3 System.
