Over the course of a year, Bessel Van Der Kolk Read The book ”the Body Keeps The Score“ and found out that he had some childhood trauma that was manifesting through his body. The talk therapy wasn't making any Progress, so he decided to try the psychedelic MDMA therapy in Pennsylvania.[00:09:25] - Jill had her first psychedelic assisted psychotherapy session with the psychedelic MDMA. She was able to talk about some horrific childhood stuff, like her mother shooting herself, her father abusing her, and her mother abusing her. After the integration, she was ready for another journey when her body would start tightening up again. Jill explains the integration process of physical therapy. It's getting the mindset right of what you want to accomplish and getting clear on that. Jill has never done drugs recreationally, so he can't speak to that and remembers MDMA. It's probably going to go to the FDA for approval in 2023. The FDA is working with Johns Hopkins on Psilocybin Breakthrough Therapy.
