The blaze was at the Army Ammunition Plant which is the main manufacturer of 155mm ammunition. We lose that plant…those weapons are useless. It should have been a major news story. All of the networks should have covered it. But did you see it mentioned anywhere? The silence regarding this story was deafening. Maybe it’s because the Scranton PA fire department was better than expected and, even though it was massive, they had it under control and then out altogether…quickly. This was an important story. The Israelis showed their sophistication and adroitness by masterfully deflecting the barrage. Now Biden is demonstrating his ineptness by turning his back on an Israeli retaliation. This fair-weather friend has told Israel to “take the win” meaning…consider the defensive deflection as the victory. We have never had a weaker Commander-In-Chief. Welcome to the “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”-Weekend Update- Episode 594- Tensions are increasing in the Middle East. Speculation is that Iran and Israel will be at war by the end of the weekend. And Iran has already threatened the US…saying that if we interfere, they’ll come at us and our interests too. Our warships are repositioning and staging in waters near the conflict zone and the possibility of a peaceful resolution diminishes by the hour. And even though there is no official war, as of this writing, missiles are already flying into Israeli air space. Where is this going? Could this be the start of World War III? God help us. Welcome to the Weekend Edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”-Episode 593. O.J. Simpson died Wednesday and the world found out about it yesterday. Back in the mid 90s it sucked all of the oxygen out of the news cycles. When his case was on TV, the world was fixated on it. Nothing could compare. Ask most people about other major news stories of the time and they’ll be hard pressed to answer. Ask them about the white Bronco…or the tight glove and everyone will have a story. So…over the course of three decades did will learn anything? Not really. Once again, yesterday, it became the most important news story in the world. We’re on the verge of World War III yet all we could talk about on the major news channels was OJ and how he “got away with it”. You think we would have learned. Welcome to the Thursday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”-Episode 592. Yesterday, President Trump released a 2018 letter that was written by Stormy Daniels. In the letter, she denies that the two people ever had a relationship. She states that she was never coerced and that there was never any pressure on her to make a statement. It seems, to a logical, casual observer, that this is all the evidence the former president will ever need. It appears to be an open and closed case. But these are different times. Logic and honesty are qualities that are in slim supply. Will this solid evidence mean anything or will it be summarily dismissed? We talk about this and much more on a very busy Thursday program.
