4th Graders from Mrs. Gilson's class at Rossman Elementary School in Detroit Lakes, MN interviews Jim Thomas.  Jim Thomas is a Tlingit Indian and a kHaatsati or Great Chief from the village of Yakutat in Alaska. He now lives in Washington.  

Jim's traditional name is Shaa Ye Gun which means One Who Shines the Sun unto Mt. St. Elias.
