Jim Thomas is a Tlingit Indian and is a kHaatsati or Great Chief. His traditional name is Shaa Ye Gun which means One Who Shines the Sun Unto Mount St. Elias.  He comes form the the village of Yakutat in Alaska and now resides in Washington.  It was an honor to talk with him and to now share his stories with you.  Enjoy.
