The guys open up talking about the opening of the Cap City League including a nice start from North's Tyreke Locure, then talk US Open and the controversy surrounding Phil Mickelson before welcoming in Tom Kakert talking about the cancellation of the PTL and Big 4 Classic along with the latest for Jirehl Brock's recruiting and then a look around Major League Baseball with Ian Casselberry.

Trent opens the 2nd hour with Wolfgang. They talk about the Big 4 Classic going away, what it means for Iowa and how they should schedule. Seth Gruen stops by to talk MLB with the Cubs/Cards happening this weekend, then the Hawkeye Swarm with a look back to 20 years ago with the hiring of Kirk Ferentz.

Trent and Jim open the show talking about the news that the Big 4 Classic will be down after 2018 and the Prime Time League going away. Plenty of discussion on that before John Bohnenkamp from the Burlington Hawkeye stops by and offers his perspective on the news.

Jim & Trent open the show talking about Lindell Wigginton not playing in the Cap City Summer League, some changes from the NCAA including transfers and redshirt years. Then Pat Harty from AllHawkeyes.com gives his thoughts on the Hawkeye off season and those NCAA changes and College Football News' Pete Fiutek talks college football.
