Biography

Jimmy Lockett (Poppa) has appeared on Broadway in Big River, with Harry Belafonte Live at the Shubert Theatre and appeared in The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber at the Radio City Music Hall and in the national and international tours. He has also appeared in the U.S. tours of Starlight Express, Big River and Cats, the Off-Broadway and Toronto productions of Little Shop of Horrors and in the films Let's Do It Again with Bill Cosby and Sidney Poitier and Funny Money with Sid Caesar and Shelly Hack. Television credits include ABC's All My Children and NBC's The Tonight Show. Jimmy has performed in numerous clubs in the Catskills and at the Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City. He is an alumnus of the Juilliard School where he studied Composition.
