Biography
In 1954, Dennis LeGree was born in the US, more specifically in Miami, Florida. Today, however, the musical actor and singer lives in Germany in the small town of Hagen. For more than 20 years he has been on stage in Germany and Austria.
Dennis LeGree first studied singing in his native Miami and trained as a singing teacher. Besides the musical his focus is on jazz, swing, blues, RnB, gospel and classical music. After spending some time working as a vocal teacher in his hometown, he came to Germany for the musical STARLIGHT EXPRESS. In Bochum he played the steam locomotive "Papa" for more than 700 performances. He then toured the US for 14 months, then returned to Germany. He also appeared in other musical productions, including HAIR. In 2015, he plays the carnivorous plant Audrey II in the musical DER KLEINE HORRORLADEN in Bonn, alternating with Reginald Jenning.
Participation in "The Voice of Germany"
In 2012 Dennis LeGree took part in the second season of "The Voice of Germany" and stayed in the audience not only because of his voice but also because he confused jury member Rea Garvey with Chris Rea. Dennis LeGree made it to the battle rounds.
