Biography:
Meera Popkin (Ashley) has appeared on Broadway in Cats. In London, she replaced Lea Salonga as Kim in the West End production of Miss Saigon. She has also appeared in the U.S. tour of Starlight Express, Off-Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's Anyone Can Whistle, in Stephen Schwartz's Children of Eden at Playwright's Horizon and in numeroud regional productions and national TV commercials.
Meera Popkin is the author of the Meeras Muses series. She is the proud mother of two and is happily married. She holds a B.A. from the College of Arts and Sciences, Indiana University, and graduated with honors and high distinction. Although born in Boston, she grew up mostly in Bloomington, Indiana. She organized two cancer benefits and holds a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She performed on Broadway and was also the star of a London West End Musical as well as many other theatrical productions. She'd like to thank her husband for always keeping her entertained.
