淨空法師：墳墓不能建房屋；鬼屋鬧鬼怎麼辦？How to handle haunted houses?

下面一個問題,

The next question,

我村後有一座大山，

There is a mountain behind my village,

原是村民安葬先人之處.

Which used to be the place where villagers buried their ancestors.

現在這座山被鏟去了一半，

Now half of the mountain has been shoveled down,

做為投標建私人住宅，

And it is used as a bid to build private houses.

請問在此建房屋，

Master, my question is, 

對埋葬在此的先人有影響嗎？

Does building houses here have any impact on the ancestors?

有影響。

Yes, it does.

建好房屋後，對在此居住的人會有影響嗎？

After the houses is built, will it affect people living in these houses? 

有影響。

Yes, it will affect.

如果有該怎麼補救？

If so, what should be the remedy?

這個事情，在現代很多地方都有。

This thing happens in many places in modern times.

房子建好之後，

After the house is built,

人住在那個地方，

People live there, 

他住不安，他常常生病，

And they live uneasy and often get sick.

甚至於，有體質比較弱一點的人，

Even worse, people with weak constitutions,

晚上常常看到鬼。

Often see ghosts at night.

不但在中國如此，

Not only in China,

在外國也如此。

But also, in foreign countries.

我住在美國的時候，

When I was living in America,

就有好幾個同學住的房子是鬼屋。

Several classmates lived in haunted houses.

就是房子建築在墳墓，

That is, the house is built on the tomb,

下面埋的是死人。

And the dead is buried underneath.

房子建好了沒有法子，

After the house is built,

你不能在地基裡面去挖，

You can’t dig in the foundation,

沒辦法,

There is no way to do that,

那你就天天給他超度,

Then you could give him relief every day,

勸他們念佛往生。

and persuade him to recite the buddha’s name and go to rebirth.

他那個孁離開，那個地方就沒事了。

When his soul leaves, there will be nothing wrong with that place.

要勸導他，要教他。

You can persuade him, teach him.

如果它是一個社區，

If it is a community,

這個社區用的地過去是墳場，

And the land used to be a cemetery,

這個事情可就麻煩了。

This matter will be troublesome.

也有人來問我怎麼辦.

Someone also came to ask me how to do with it.

最好是在社區旁邊建一個寺廟，

It’s best to build a temple next to the community,

常年的超度他們。

And deliver them all year round.

也許他們會接受，

Probably they will accept it,

他就不來擾亂，

And they will not disturb you,

一定要幫助他超生才行。

You must help them to be reborn.
