Three businesses. Mine, yours, theirs. Dr. Job Mogire goes back to the back row at Kebabe Primary, where he couldn't read the board and minded the other boys' laughter instead. Attention is the only budget you have, and only one of the three accounts pays back.
Before tomorrow: write Mine, Yours, Theirs across a page, sort what took your attention this week under each, and circle one thing under Mine with a day next to it.
Jipange Sunday is tonight, 8pm Kenya time. It's free: houseofmastery.co/jipange
Mind your task in the building where they last saw you struggling. Dr. Job Mogire returns to Sengera Girls, where he first worked as a casual laborer, then came back as a teacher, six years later as a doctor, and fourteen years later as a cardiologist. Each time, people saw the new reality, not the work in between.
Before tomorrow: write down one task you will mind this week in the place where people last saw you struggling, put a date next to it, and take the first step tonight.
FINISH 2026 is Saturday 31 October, 9:30am, at Daystar University in Nairobi: houseofmastery.co/summit
A decision you make can be corrected. A decision you never make cannot be improved.
In this brief evening reflection, Dr. Job Mogire looks at why an old setback can make the next step feel risky. Choose one small step today. Then use what you learn to make it better.

In April 2015, I lay awake in a grass-thatched hut in Sengera, Kisii. I was already a doctor, but hard work alone had not chosen a life for me. I made a decision. The next morning, my roof, my job, and my bank balance were the same. What changed was my part in what came next.
That question still matters: Who is deciding? You can spend a whole day answering other people's messages and still leave no time for the work you chose. Ownership does not mean you control everything. It means you can name a decision, give it time, and take the next step.
What is one choice you can make specific enough that tomorrow looks different?

Usipojipanga, utapangwa. Finish anyway.
Hosted by Dr. Job Mogire.
On 28 September 2026, Dr. Job Mogire walked into a breakout room at the NASCI 2026 Annual Meeting in Denver. Seven people were there. Six were scheduled to present. He was the only one there to listen.
They left the door open in case more people came. The hallway grew noisy, so someone closed it. No one else arrived. What followed was a conversation with six experts that he might have missed had he walked away.
What if nobody else is coming to watch you start? Your book, business, dissertation, or next step still matters. Show up for it. Close the door on noise when you need to. Give it your attention before anyone else does.
Hata kama you are alone, show up. You matter. Act like it.

Dr. Job Mogire records from Denver after three days of focused learning at a cardiac imaging conference. He explains why he built a two-year plan to master cardiac CT and cardiac MRI instead of waiting for work or the calendar to decide his growth.
The lesson reaches beyond medicine. If you do not give your growth a place in your calendar, another agenda will spend your time, energy, and attention for you.
In this episode:
• Why predictable growth starts with a plan
• How to protect your time, energy, and attention
• Why growth and contribution belong together
• How to speak for your week before noise does

Fear does not always announce itself as fear.
Sometimes it sounds intelligent. It says, “I’m still planning.” “I need more research.” “I’m waiting for the right time.” Because the language sounds responsible, delay can pass for strategy.
In this episode, Dr. Job Mogire shares a personal business failure that cost nearly five million shillings and exposed a deeper danger. An event can fail, then fear tries to turn that event into an identity. Once you accept that verdict, endless preparation starts to feel safer than action.
Failure is information about what you tried. It is not a verdict on what you are worth.
Choose one thing you have planned for too long. Send it. Make the call. Apply. Publish. Begin. Give reality something to answer.
“Stop protecting the person you think you are. Go discover the person you can become.”
This is Day 6 of 120.
Begin anyway. Finish anyway.

Capacity is not how much pressure you can tolerate. It is your ability to complete today’s agenda without borrowing from tomorrow.
In Jipange Bytes 01, Dr. Job Mogire introduces the two foundations of personal agency—ownership and capacity—and the three resources that shape every week: time, energy, and attention. This focused briefing gives you a practical agenda for structuring the week before noise, distraction, and other people’s priorities take control.

An extraordinary week is rarely built through one dramatic change. It begins with a little extra timing, planning, intention, consistency, and collaboration.
In this opening Jipange Sunday episode, Dr. Job Mogire explains how a weekly structure protects your attention before noise takes over. The invitation is simple: plan the week before it plans you, decide what matters, and stop walking alone.
