The kingdom of this world does not fully become the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ until the Mystery of God is finished and His wrath is poured out. The Apostle Paul still refers to Satan as “god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4) even after Jesus rose from the dead with all power and authority. It is not that Jesus does not have sovereign authority over Satan, but that Jesus has given Satan authority to build Mystery Babylon, until the day of the wrath of the Lord, even though there are exceptions of God’s periodic sovereign interventions, Satan has the authority to use the world system to prosper and promote whoever will serve him.
