Leo Russell is a powerhouse of a human being. She is driven, knowledgable and passionate about the education, responsible usage and legalization of plant medicines. Leo started the ADAPT-WA and the Entheo Society of WA to help spread awareness and educate the public on the uses and benefits of plant meds. As exciting as these medicines can be, we need to take our time, educate ourselves and respect where the knowledge came from. There is a lot of help these meds can offer, but using them responsibly, with care and intention will be the key to working with them and not just "taking" them.  But with all of the money that was made off of cannabis, will the the tax collectors get caught up in the business model, forgetting about the "awakening" effects of these meds? Can we find a way to involve and honor the BIPOC cultures who have been utilizing these meds before we knew what they were? Leo is on a mission to make sure we do.
