Danica back to educate us on the rituals and practices of Ostara, or our Spring Equinox. Coming off of Imbolc in February, the Spring Equinox is the 2nd in the 3 spring festivals, celebrated between March 19th & 23rd. In the Wiccan mythology, the growing daylight is evidence of the God moving from infancy toward maturity. Through our conversation, we talk about ways to honor Ostarta, by planting seeds, meditating and spending time outdoors with friends and nature. We also chat about the importance of the rabbit symbology and how we got to rabbits laying eggs. These conversations shine light on some of the traditions that I've practiced in the past, but had no idea what they meant, or where they seemingly originated from.
