In response to the CARES Act, created to provide relief for individuals and businesses that have been negatively impacted by the coronavirus outbreak, JNBA recorded a series of four podcasts (each around five minutes long) to discuss specific aspects of the law.
JNBA President Kim Brown — along with some colleagues on the firm’s Financial Planning Committee: Client Services Manager Stacy Friedges, Advisor Luke Traxler, Advisor - Advisory Services Manager Elise Huston, and Advisor Nick Scheibel — recorded the podcasts on April 7, 2020. The team shares our current understanding of some of the key provisions of the new bill, also known as the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, which was signed into law at the end of March.
Please keep in mind that the interpretation and guidance of the new law may very well have evolved by the time you listen to these.
