Dr. Alan Frankel is a professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics at UCSF. The Frankel Lab focuses has delivered ground-breaking research on both HIV and Covid-19. They use biochemistry, structural methods, proteomics, and virology to investigate two essential regulatory complexes in HIV. Their studies have led to an understanding of how the HIV virus has evolved adaptable protein interfaces to hijack host machines and establish a unique regulatory circuit that drives gene expression during the HIV life cycle. Dr. Frankel has Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University. Dr. Frankel was a MIT Whitehead Institute Fellow.

Today we speak with Noopur Pandey, legendary Silicon Valley Product Manager currently at Boston Scientific Digital Ventures. Noopur left her mark on Yahoo, Picket Fence, The Good Guide, and the Parents Club of Palo Alto and Menlo Park. Noopur has a Master of Economics as well as a Master  of Sociology both from Virginia Tech.

Today we speak with Kiki Carter, a leading Software Architect, Technologist and Systems Engineer. Kiki has extensive experience delivering web scale systems for digital commerce, media and hospitality.  She's also built solutions that battle human trafficking. Kiki works at Lightbend, the company that enables some of the world's best known brands to be leaders in the digital realm.

Today we speak with Jim Burroughs, one of the nation's top environmental and land use lawyers. Jim was most recently, a Senior Partner at Allen Matkins LLP.  Jim's responsibilities included permitting strategy, managing environmental consultants and engineers, negotiations, and collaboration with various permitting agencies at all levels of government.

We have the pleasure of welcoming one of our favorite teachers, Mr. Nathan Beach. Mr. Beach is a history and social studies teacher at Hall Middle School, and he will share with us with being a teacher is really like. 

We have the pleasure of speaking with Harley Berman, a Radio Frequency Engineer at Marki Microwave. Harley went to Tam High School in Marin County and graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
