Jock Begg is a Producer who started making beats by sampling after being inspired by the likes of J Dilla and Tom Misch. He is now moving away from that vision of sampling and those Hip Hop style beats but we both connected on the love we have for that genre of music.

Jock was very fortunate to be accepted to one of his heroes Tom Misch "Wildflower" workshop down in London a month or so ago. He was able to work with Tom closely and learn from him and the other participants in this program. Making a dream come true and he talks all about it here.

We go through Jocks EP "Wildflower" (named after the workshop) track by track and Jock gives insight to how the beats were made and the stories behind them. He also let me in to the equipment he uses giving demos with his guitar to show how his ideas come about.
