It has been clear for months that Joe Biden is not physically up to the job of President of the United States. Of late, concern has grown that he’s not actually doing that job, either.
Last week, Mr. Biden engaged in perhaps the most bizarre behavior of anyone who has ever occupied the Oval Office: He repeatedly referred to someone who does not as “President Harris.” What’s going on?
Maybe it’s more than obvious cognitive decline.
In 1966, a heroic prisoner of war in Vietnam named Jeremiah Denton blinked the word TORTURE in Morse Code during a TV interview to tell viewers what he and other POWs were experiencing. Could Joe Biden’s repeated references to President Harris be a similar, desperate appeal for his rescue from unidentified handlers engaging in what amounts to elder abuse?
Can we responsibly ignore that possibility?
