Branagh once again returns as Hercule Poirot to solve another murder mystery in what is a very entertaining film – not without its flaws though. ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ has got a lot of Star Wars fans talking – and like other Star Wars releases, it’s splitting the fanbase. I am definitely on the fence with this show; there are elements of the series that are absolutely fantastic and epic, and other parts that are flat and just a tad weak. Released in 2017, ‘Murder On the Orient Express’ was the latest adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel helmed by Sir Kenneth Branagh. With the next instalment ‘Death On the Nile’ just around the corner (which looks super good), I thought I best sit down and check out the first. I love a good murder mystery, and Branagh certainly delivered, not only on his direction, but his performance as the titular detective. Full thoughts in this revisit.

This semi-autobiographical film, set within 1969 Belfast, depicts a young boy, Buddy, as he learns and discovers religion, love and the prospect of leaving Belfast for England. It is easy to see why this film is receiving so high praise, and winning awards due to its gripping storytelling and fantastic performances. Catch my thoughts in this episode
