Joe & Joe Weather Show Podcast LIVE 7:35pm 8/19/2025 Major Hurricane Erin continues northwestward today and we have Tropical Storm Watches up for the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We continue to forecast Erin to turn northward Wednesday and northeastward Thursday east of North Carolina. However Erin is going to grow to become a large hurricane in terms of geographic coverage. Tropical Storm Force winds are forecast for the Outer Banks of North Carolina and we could see those winds increase across the Middle Atantic coast to Southern New England Wednesday night and Thursday.
