This is part I of the interview with Joe Schamlz. Joe is a professional cyclist riding for the Elevate-KHS professional cycling team. This interview was recorded this past summer, so the references to his racing are from the 2016 season. In part I of the interview Joe takes us through his early career and gives us some great behind-the scenes views of some of his early season races, including his win in the Mancedo road race that was part of the North Star Stage Race.
