An Advent Word for the Way --- Joel

It's Advent! We're staying in our series on the Book of the Twelve as we transition into this year practice of preparing our hearts for the coming of the Lord. This week, it's Joel on Joel! And we start in an unfortunately familiar place for many this time on year: lament. A Savior coming to the world means that something is broken, and we all have little doubt about that. God hears your woes. God empathizes. To grieve means that you have loved. And loving is what our mission is.
