Attempting to stop the vehicle, the driver attempted to flee and ultimately crashed.  When the sole occupant was arrested, the State Troopers found a deceased women in the bed of his pickup truck.  Joel Rifkin's killings spanned four years and a minimum of 17 women before he was finally apprehended.
