Up the crow’s nest or you have crow’s feet – near your eyes? I’ve never understood that one! The American crow is an unusual bird. One, many times we take for granted. We will explore some amazing facts about a bird that is part of every landscape.

Everyone enjoys a great day at the ocean. Body surfing, boogie boarding, surfing, or simply floating over the waves is fun. So how do we know what day will have the best waves? There are a number of indicators that will help you ‘hang ten’.

Many gardeners take a break from the outdoors for three or four months. My guest today, Inspector Dave. teaches us the steps needed to prepare for a successful gardening season. His incite is always spot on for safety, technique, and enjoyment.

What gear is necessary for a great day out on the water. I am a kayaker first, then a paddleboarder, and last, a boater. Also, I have portaged canoes all throughout Minnesota while tracking wolves. (Who swim very well). All of my gear is prepped and ready for my first adventure this spring.

So what have you done to prepare for spring adventures? This winter I took specific steps so that each time I enter the outdoors I am better prepared to have an awesome outing. There is still time for you to get ‘spring ready’.

I have taken many photos in the wild. One of my favorites has to be a fawn in an open field. The whitetail deer is found throughout most of the continental US. Let us learn all about this awesome animal.
