  • Control What You Can Control #52 | Living for a Living w/ Joey Bradley

I talk about; Being in a funk last week. Controlling your thoughts and actions. Random bright spots in my week. Why you don't ask a Finnish person how they're doing. It's not your job to save anyone but yourself. Tinder dating stories. Spidey senses tingling. Grapes. Dating at 30 realizations. Europeans are more similar to Americans than they like to believe. Finnish gym problems rant.

Robin Skies is an up and coming Canadian artist and free-speaker that I learned about and became friends with via Tik Tok. • On Vacation #50 | Living for a Living w/ Joey Bradley

How are you doing? Let me know on Whatsapp via voice, video or text message! +14254436928 .

On the 50th episode, I reflect on the podcast to begin. Then I get into the mindsets and hypocrisy in the US right now in regards to protests, terrorism censorship and the system in general. I explain one of my conspiracy theories around Trump, the Elites and why the US is in the condition it is currently. I discuss how overuse of a word like racism and terrorism desensitizes us to the word and makes it much less powerful in the long run, empowering those who are truly apart of these groups; I compare this with how the use of the N-word has changed over the years through culture. I finish with some cultural differences from the US and Finland regarding nakedness.   Thanks for tuning in :)

  • Michael Andrzejewski #49 | Living for a Living w/ Joey Bradley

Michael is a former pastor of 10+ years, a West Point graduate, and a father of 5 "third culture" kids. Born and raised in Alabama, he attended West Point to play football and after some dark times after graduation, he found god, and eventually moved to Portugal, where he lived for 10 years as an Evangelical pastor. After over a decade in Portugal, he's back in the States. His story is unique to say the least and offers a really interesting perspective from a parenting side of raising 5 kids both in the States and Europe, among other things.

  • Able to be Labeled #48 | Living for a Living w/ Joey Bradley

Unfiltered to say the least, one might say I'm being too raw. I talk about how I have operated from a mindset of scarcity for most of my life and I'm trying to change that to a Mindset of Abundance, which has already paid off for me in a short amount of time via cryptocurrency. I get into what I did for New Years Eve and why it's one of the most overrated holidays. I talk about my friends group outside of football here in Kuopio and how appearances don't really mean anything, yet they do mean something on a bigger level. I talk about why mental health is so important and how it is affecting us in our current lockdown friendly climate. And then I wrap it up with a little dating life, or lack there of, talk and how I view marriage and kids and if I think I'll ever have them.

  • Dropping out with Alex Grillo #47 | Living for a Living w/ Joey Bradley

Known to speak his mind without much concern for hurting feelings, I gravitated towards Grillo's vibe big time from day 1. After dropping out of college and moving back in with his parents, he started a personal brand single handedly from the ground, making $5k the first week of his first drop. Eventually he took an 8 month road trip across the country to meet his followers/fans in a tricked out school bus. He does his own thing and embodies the Living for a Living mindset to the max. This is the first time we've talked outside of Twitter and we flow like it's an age old friendship.

  • Shirt Off #46 | Living for a Living w/ Joey Bradley

This one starts with me rapping an old favorite song and showing how art can transcend time. I talk about the Finnish beliefs towards Americans I've noticed as well as my thoughts on Finnish culture in my short time here, including the almighty sauna. Of course I get into a little bit about evil politicians, the system and why Twitter is a wild place to talk about both. On the pandemic side of things, I bring up some interesting points about why COVID deserves more credit than it is getting and some censorship of the CDC itself that is happening. I finish on a lighter note about why you shouldn't fly with a 2 year old and the series of Ted Lasso, which is a must watch.

  • Getting Reps in with Danny Tam #45 | Living for a Living w/ Joey Bradley

Danny is a unique dude, which is a compliment I don't give out often. He has Asian and African roots but was born and raised in Quebec City where he learned to speak French at school and in the community, Cantonese at home, but English is his preferred and best language. After a somewhat lackluster ending to his college career, like myself, he found himself in Portugal to play football with the Devils, which is where we first connected. After playing and coaching in Mexico for a short time, Danny is now coaching/personal training in Florida and enjoys anything that keeps him active physically and mentally.

We discuss our time in Portugal together, his roots and how it was growing up in Quebec, language and communication, getting outside of our comfort zone via traveling and training, micro-dosing and why it isn't a mainstream idea, to the current state of the world and why speaking your mind is so important.
