The central message is that Christian formation isn’t about perfect performance, but about staying connected to Jesus, His people, and His gospel — especially when we fall short. Drawing on John 15, the sermon highlights Jesus as the true vine, producing the fruit that Israel could not. As branches, we are called to abide in Him, accept God’s pruning in difficult seasons, and grow through life together in Christian community.
