In John 15:12–15, Jesus calls His followers into a relationship defined by love, friendship, and obedience. He commands us to love one another as He has loved us. a love so deep that it led Him to lay down His life for His friends. No longer does He call us servants, but friends, because He has shared with us everything the Father has made known, inviting us into intimate partnership with His heart and mission.
