Today we are looking at the second part of Jesus sermon on bread. As we study the bible, it is important to understand that context is critical to proper interpretation. The context of this message is the larger narrative of the gospel, but also the miracle of the miraculous provision of food-the feeding of the 5,000 with five loaves and two fish. Jesus is spring-boarding off of this miracle to teach about Himself-both His identity and His purpose.
