John 9. Day 214 - The New Testament in a Year

Sin and Suffering. Healing of Blind.  Spiritual Blindness. 

"Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind.”"  John 9:39

Why does God allow suffering? This chapter invites us to see pain and hardship through God's perspective. In John 9, Jesus heals a man born blind, not because of sin, but to reveal God’s power and purpose. Through this miracle, Jesus shows us that physical and spiritual sight are both acts of His grace.
