John and Brian: We’re not famous

Sausage hatred. Other topics

We sit and romp through subjects like old telephones and simpler times. From the Ocean City NJ boardwalk in the 80s to Santa Barbara CA of recent days.

We discuss desserts with Ashley and Dan. I have a new job. Ashley dreams of Nebraska, and Brian and I advise against it. Is Chubby Checker a robot?! Fighter jet dreams, Seinfeld and Larry David. Pig cracklins? NO! We remember Busch beer commercials. Ashley talks about her living situation. Liquor drinking. Pills. Asian food. Kid’s songs, and dentistry when Novocain doesn’t work.

Traditional sink jam

Brian wants his Kousa dogwoods, and talks about asparagus. I tell him that we couldn’t PAY my mother to compost! I recall the days before Mapquest, and having to call for directions from a pay phone. We both remember Y2K. Did you panic?

Malvern Alps. Bourbon and the telephone
