John Charles Carney Jr. is an American politician serving as the 74th governor of Delaware since 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, Carney served as the U.S. representative for Delaware's at-large congressional district from 2011 to 2017 and as the 24th lieutenant governor of Delaware from 2001 to 2009. Joseph LaVorgna is a Managing Director and the Chief Economist for the Americas at Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking. He leads the firm’s economic research efforts in the region, managing a team that analyzes trends in the equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, and commodity markets.
