I don't know if you have heard of John Corcoran, but here is your chance to look into his mind and see how he approaches contacting people he wants to get to know. I use some of these techniques in getting guests to let me read their writing on my show. I haven't met with much resistance and most people who are actually reading my emails respond. Of course for some of my featured writers, you cannot contact them through email. Either their assistant is screening for the most important emails or they just don't have an email address available.
