I don't know if you are like me or not, but I can't create with music or people talking in the background. I have to have quiet in order to "plumb the depths" to create. I mean, if music is playing, I can't hear you speak...Seriously, I can't hear you because my mind is focused on the music or conversation going on. It has always been a problem for me--always seemed like a curse. But, silence is my creative friend.
