A field recording of a Turkish-Afghan flute master called Ismaël

He was performing in the street of Koln in Germany and allow me to record him and exchange on this very particular melodies.

Sad melodies telling the stories of the poor landworkers which lives in the border area of Turkey & Afghanistan.

He emphysis me to keep this music intact of all transformation & world editing, in respect of the life's of these people, these simple people who went through lot of miseries and express their stories in these melodies.

The 3 songs are accompanied by a little interview in English and a part in German has Ismaël shared a few words of his vision on music & his desire for authenticity.
