Another new song featuring my new favourite persona. Still trying to understand how I can make the voice more stable. The Suno AI seems to remember the styles of the last track worked on, e.g. still a lot of C&W vibes here, in both the music and the vocal.

After a recent song, I was impressed by the vocalist, and decided to create an album of songs using the "persona". I tried to create covers using the persona, but there always seemed to be some reference to the original in the vocal; Just enough to make me wonder if the idea might not work. Maybe I need to turn down the "audio" and increase the "style" sliders to keep the issue to a minimum,

Any way, I have been working on some new songs for the persona, "James Christian", this is the first of these new songs featuring James, which will all fall into the Singer-Songwriter genre. I am very happy with this and hope you like it.

This is a cover of a recording by myself, created using ACID -Forge way back in the 80's; at a time I was experimenting with the new software at that time. Basically, I was using short samples from the Acid library and sequencing them on a piano roll; I was able to adjust the pitch of the samples which lasted one beat to a few bars. I played around with this software for a couple of weeks, producing around a dozen tracks, Later posted on Soundcloud about ten years ago as an album, "This Is Me".

This cover is actually composed of two versions, which accidentally when stitched together in audacity, produced an increasing dynamic from start to finish. I am very pleased with the way this turned out, hope you like it!

I listened to the Latin version of this track and fell in love with the "song". I kept thinking, "This would work with a simpler backing". So I decided to tray a singer-songwriter genre, this was the result. It confirmed to me how much I liked this song, even thought the lyric is very simple, no clever use of language I would not normally use - just simple everyday language. This is the way I write from the heart.

I decided to get Suno to put my lyrics in an alternative rock format, with a Latin influence. I have used the idea of an acoustic guitar intro many time before before breaking into a rock genre for the main body of the song. I am not sure why this resulted in a latin pop number, but I loved it; another triumph for Suno. So I left it and continued working on the song in this format - a "happy" accident. Hope you like it as much as I do.
