I worked hard on this lyric, so was looking for a high quality production from Suno, however I think that under some circumstances v4.5 is producing shimmer again. It is almost like a low volume string/keyboard backing - perhaps it is? But Suno certainly brings out the anthemic vibes on this track, hope you like it.

A remix of "Hey Stranger" (written by myself) in the style of a 1960's instrumental. Anybody else a fan of The Shadows or The Ventures. Still music I listen to from my very large collection of original vinyl and CD.

This song has special connotations for me, written after I received an unwelcome diagnosis a few years ago now. I was given many choices by my surgeon, and needed to make a choice. A wonderfully confidant and happy man who saw me through a difficult time. I guess when I was making the choice, I wrote the song as a kind of therapy.

This was a cover of an older demo (just me and my Uke) which I recorded at the time, now produced via Suno v4.5

I do love this song, I have in the past recorded it quite simply, just me and my ukulele. I have also produced a version with full instrumentation by Suno; however with this remix I have covered the first demo an maintained the beautiful simplicity with sparse backing, hope you like it.

And here is another cover of one of my early recordings - just me and my Uke. Difference here is that I Have given it a Country-Rock genre to put thru Suno. Again, this is just for my own entertainment, but I hope that you like it as Much as I do. Lyrics and melodies written by myself , !978 from memory but wiil update if I am wrong.

Looking backward! I am starting a collection (playlist) of covers of some of my early tracks on Soundcloud, at a time when I was singing and playing a uke/guitar. I often referred to them as "me and my uke" or "me and my guitar". I did get some very nice comments on many of these but covering the tracks on Suno has smashed the originals in my own view. This is one of those covers, and incidentally one of my most listened to tracks. It is purely for my own pleasure but maybe you will enjoy these updated trracks.

MY DOG RAN OFF WITH THE KEYS

My dog ran off with the keys to my car.

it’s true, please believe what I say.

The distance from home to here is so far,

I'm just lucky to get here today,

At all!

How on earth did it happen, you want to know.

Well, I was just letting him out for a wee;

When I happened to sneeze, I dropped the keys

and he ran off, overjoyed to be free.

You see!

My phone was inside, what was I to do?

Had to follow the dog, for sure.

Lest he lost the keys, dropped me in the stew

with no means of contacting vous,

cet jour.

So pardonnez-moi, I'm here at last

And ready to do what you need.

I'm ready and willing and able if asked,

except for one little problem, this hound on the lead.

No keys, no car, no home - so far

had to bring the dog!

A difficult lyric to write, I am still not sure of it but love the song. I was so involved with finding the right lines that I totally forgot to think about the rhyme scheme, and have ended up with three verses and three different rhyme schemes, but it works for me. It is basically in a minor key, but I had the last lines in the outro sun in the relative major key to raise the mood. Hope you like it.
