We kick off today’s third hour with another edition of Idiocracy. After President Trump accepted a Nobel Peace Prize that he didn’t earn, the internet is full of memes about giving him participation trophies. John and Gordy share a few of their favorites. They also announce the official John & Gordy Tax Plan.
Despite being legally required to release all of the Epstein files, the Department of Justice now claims that the courts cannot force them to actually go through with it.
In the second half of the hour, the guys talk about the pros and cons of EVs.
After giving more updates on the Minneapolis occupation, the guys take some time to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We listen to part of one of his speeches about staying hopeful, which is something we must not forget today.
The temperature may be below zero, but John and Gordy are still in the studio to cover the latest news. After reminiscing on old local television programs, the guys move to discuss the ICE situation in Minneapolis. We get an on-the-ground look from Steve, a lifelong Minneapolis resident who we called a few days back. In that time, Steve says that conditions have significantly worsened. Now, Stephen Miller has commanded local law enforcement to “stand down and surrender” the city to federal enforcement.
Guests: Aaron ZommersIn today’s third hour, John and Gordy share remarks from various officials on the Minneapolis ICE occupation. Border Czar Tom Homan and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz have predictably opposed takes on the situation.
As long time listeners will know, John has difficulty remembering nicknames. One of his neighbors calls in with some recommendations of new nicknames for President Trump.
President Trump announced that he may employ more tariffs against any countries that do not support his plan to annex Greenland. He is truly earning John’s new nickname for him: Mad King Don.
John and Gordy take a few calls with thoughts on the Minneapolis ICE situation. Some callers say that we all need to comply with law enforcement officials, claiming that George Floyd and Nicole Good would still be alive if they had done so. The show addresses these claims, reminding all of us that even if these individuals were disobeying law enforcement, the response was incredibly violent and overblown.
John’s AI-powered glasses have finally arrived! Huzzah! For today’s show, he left them at home to charge, but he and Gordy chat about what John’s first question should be for his new AI assistant.
At the bottom of the hour, BustED Pencils Co-host Dr. Tim Slekar joins the guys to talk about Wisconsin’s poor funding for special education. Legislators around our state struggle to get anywhere near 40% of the funding they’re supposed to have for their students, and it has affected Gordy’s family personally.
Guests: Tim SlekarAs we kick off today’s third hour, John updates us on some of President Trump’s attempts at global conquest in Venezuela and Greenland. Our president continues to demonstrate that he feels he is entitled to own the entire world.

President Trump today announced that he seeks to invoke the Insurrection Act and send the military in to respond to anti-ICE protests in Minneapolis. Jim weighs in on how this may conflict with other laws in the US.
Guests: Brian Noonan, Jim SantelleAccording to WPR, dating apps in Milwaukee are rife with thieves. Stay safe out there, and never give out personal information online before you can actually meet somebody and develop trust.
Over in the UK, the government has banned AI-generated porn due to its frequent non-consensual use. Twitter/X’s AI platform, Grok, is so highly intertwined with the social media platform that the whole site is in danger of being banned across the pond. Elon Musk announced that he is geo-locking this feature of Grok, but we have our concerns as to whether this will meaningfully stop these images from being created.
To wrap up the hour, John and Gordy take your calls on the worsening ICE situation in Minneapolis.
Guests: Brian Noonan, God's Outlaw, Jim Santelle, John Peterson, Katie Scullin, Sean Michael DarganIn today’s second hour, we continue the conversation about ICE raids in Minneapolis and around the country. It is important to know that ICE agents specifically need a judicial warrant, not just an administrative warrant. It must be issued by a court and have your name on it. Know your rights!
At the bottom of the hour, we are joined by Dr. Jim Conway, Professor of Pediatrics for the University of Wisconsin Divisions of Infectious Disease & Global Pediatrics. As an expert on vaccines, he weighs in on the CDC’s new childhood vaccination guidelines. In short, they’re bunk. A wealth of scientific studies support the efficacy of these shots, and Wisconsin health officials are recommending that citizens ignore the CDC changes.
