Donnie is back at the helm leading us into the new series the Armor of God!  It is quite obvious the devil is out to steal, kill, and destroy, just look at our current situations around us!  But God calls us to put on the armor of God daily to stand up against his attacks, and today's message reminds us that our fight is very spiritual, not necessarily physical.  We pray this blesses and encourages you in your walk with Christ!

Today we have Sam DesRocher, an employee of HMS and member of the faith committee, share his testimony at the luncheon today while Donnie is still out.  Powerful reminders today that while the things God calls us to may seem small at first, the impact on people's lives can be substantial if you simply say yes to God's calling in your life!  We overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony!

Today David Kapps fills in for Donnie who is out with Covid but recovering well.  He brings a message entitled Hope.  Hope is something we can all use right now in our world dealing with disease or different hardships the lists go on.......but in this crazy world we can always find a secure home of Hope in Jesus Christ our Lord.  Trust in him as your savior and you will always have reason to hope!

As we start a brand new year, Donnie comes to us with an encouraging message of Staying Alive in 2022.  Obviously we want you to be physically alive!  But Donnie goes through the scriptures to be encouraging on how to be spiritually alive as well, so we can be a light to those around us!

The final luncheon of 2021, special guest Gerald Malloy leads us in worship and Donnie gives a quick message entitled Jesus, God with Us!  During this Christmas season we have a lot to be thankful for, but let us not forget the real reason for the season, Jesus coming to earth, being born of a virgin, living a sinless life, and dying on a cross for our sin debt!  Thanks be to God!

In todays fellowship lunch message, we are joined by guest speaker and MRO Chaplain Nick Terry who brings a message on The Name Christmas.  He opens up the scripture to key points on how Gods word forecasts a savior to be born and to give his life for us!  He also encourages us to ask God to be filled with the Christmas joy that only he can supply this season so others may be drawn in!  Enjoy the message!

As we enter into the Christmas season, Donnie takes us through 1 John and other places in the scriptures to highlight a bunch of characteristics we as believers can either stand to lose or cannot stand to lose.  God calls us be in the world but not of the world, not an easy task at times......But we have an eternal home we look forward to and God calls us to lead others towards his saving power through Jesus our Lord!  We pray you enjoy the message and apply it to your life!

After such an amazing season at HMS and slowly starting to bring 2021 to a close, Donnie speaks to us from the scriptures about being thankful for God our Father, Jesus our Savior, and the holy Spirit which guides us who are Christ followers.  Take a moment this next week to remember what is truly important, and all God has given to us!
