John Marx is the Executive Director of the Law Enforcement Survival Institute and author of the book, Armor Your Self™: How to Survive a Career in Law Enforcement. He is also editor of the law enforcement wellness website www.CopsAlive.com and sits on the board of a number of national organisations that support first responders and their families.

John served for twenty-three years in both a municipal police department and a county sheriff’s office working patrol, investigations and community service.
