Recognized as an “exhilarating, very versatile trumpet performer and educator" (Jose Sibaja, Boston Brass), John Maurer graduated as the trumpet graduate assistant at the Penn State University with his master’s degree in Trumpet Performance as well as receiving his bachelor's degree in Music Education with a concentration in Trumpet Performance from Millersville University. John has performed in various venues around the world and conducted a number of residencies and masterclasses in many renowned colleges and universities in the United State of America.
