  • Look to the Left

Are you working for God or with God?

1 Cor 3:9:  We are laborers together with Him; you are God’s garden; you are God’s building.

When I received the revelation of this scripture, it was a game changer.  So many times, when we move away from a grace-based righteousness, we try to do things to earn the favor of God. We try to present ourselves acceptable outside of His love, mercy, grace, blood sacrifice, and redemption.    If you do not get this issue of working for God or with God settled in your heart, you will forfeit a measure of the power of God in your ministry, in your vocation, and in anything you do that otherwise you could truly enjoy!

In this podcast, you will realize the difference between laboring for God and with God.  You will realize the limits we place on ourselves by reducing God to our size instead of seeing things from God’s perspective.   Colossians 3:1 states that we are seated together with Christ and seated at the right hand of God.  God wants to use us to change the world!  Instead of becoming overwhelmed by that, simply “look to the left.”

  • How to Walk in Peace

Are you facing things that are out of your control?  Have you been hurt by someone in your own church body?  Have you experienced people behaving unethically to your detriment?   Are you afraid to seek help for fear that it will make you look like you are weak?  Would you like peace in your life even while your life seems to be falling to pieces?

If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, this podcast discussion between Pastor John Nuzzo and Pastor Joe Cameneti is for you!  Pastor Joe shares a personal experience that allowed some scriptural principles to become real to him and that enabled him to walk truly free and full of the peace of God.  Lack of peace—anxiety, fear, trauma—can stop you from fulfilling the very thing God created you to do.  As a minister, you must process hurt amid preaching every weekend.  Learning how to operate in the scriptural truths found in Philippians 4: 6 & 7 will help you through any situation that has caused hurt or stress in your life.

    •  Peace is a gift that you can have no matter what!  John 14:27
    • You must make a conscious decision to experience this peace.  Col 3:15
    • Pray for those who have hurt you according to Romans 15:30.

As you listen to this episode, open your heart to receive.  Follow God with all your heart and follow the call upon your life.  Do not let anything externally define who you are or what you are called to do.  Let peace rule and reign in your heart from this day forward!

  • Five Musts to Avoid Regrets

Would you like to live your life pursuing your passion without having any regrets? How well do you balance your ministry with your personal life? Have you ever been to a family event yet not been present?

In this podcast Pastor John discusses what he has learned in 30 years of ministry that he would change if he could.  We don’t usually have the opportunity for do-overs, but by learning some key principles and taking a few practical steps, you can avoid pitfalls that will allow you to lead without regret.  Living your life out of balance is a form of pride, and God resists the proud.  With a spirit of humility, you can implement principles that will enhance both your ministry and your family life.  Valuable points covered in this podcast include these ministry-changing principles:

    • Don’t let your vision for your ministry consume your entire life.
    • Be more intentional in your marriage and your family.
    • Get better educated.  Seek for wisdom more than you would for gold.
    • Intentionally say what God says in the face of your circumstances that are contradictory instead of always trying to think your way forward.

Get quiet before God and listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit in your life and obey them.

Take time to write down one action step that you can implement in the next week and begin balancing the scales in your life!

  • Vision + Process = Sustained Success

Are you a passionate leader with a clear vision?  Are you conveying what burns in your heart at every opportunity?  Is it melded into every message? Can others easily grab hold of that vision and use the grace deposit on their own lives to run with it?  Join us as Pastor John discusses the vision and process recipe for sustained success in an organization.

Habakkuk 2:2 “And the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain upon tablets that he may run that readeth it.”

Vision without process creates chaos.  Process without vision becomes a treadmill.  Either one without the other will create a lack of confidence and disappointment.   Sustained success is dependent on both.

    Vision must be:

    • Discovered (Written)
    • Communicated
    •  Processed

There are practical steps that you can take now to gain momentum.  Take the time to let this message encourage your heart, discover what those steps are and begin implementing them.
