In this this interview, John Tait takes us back to when his love of motorsport began and has evolved over the years. John joined the military as a young man and travelled all over the world with his family but once settling back in Australia, John got right back in cars, Clubs and motorsport with the support of his wife Marian. John has been a member of MG Car Club Queensland, MX-5 Car Club Queensland and BMW Club Queensland and volunteered within these Clubs in roles such as Chapter Leader, Drive Coordinator, Vice President, Treasurer, Assistant to Motorsport Director and ICC Coordinator. John highlights the importance for Club members to take part in voluntary roles in Clubs, the enjoyment that will bring to you and the members and how with the support of his wife Marian, he has been able to do this for many years.
