A couple of years back John met twin veterans Larry and Gary when he escorted them around Washington D.C. for Honor Flight San Diego. He's stayed friends with the brothers and become very close with both of them. So much so that they invited John to Larry's grandson's Marine graduation ceremony. In case you missed it, over the weekend an American Airlines flight had to make an emergency landing in Denver after catching fire.
