John & Tammy: San Diego's Morning Show

We've had some off complaints over the years at KSON, but nothing more unusual than the letter PETA sent Tammy last week after talking about the turkey her husband Kurt got for Thanksgiving. What was the oddest complaint you ever got at your job?

The Mega Millions is up to $619 tonight and everyone is rushing to get their tickets. That is everyone BUT Producer Jessica's mother-in-law Sherrie. Why is she now refusing to play the lotto ever again? We just had to call her and get the scoop!

Christmas season is in full swing and that means Christmas events are popping up everywhere in San Diego, including at LEGOLAND! There is so much to do and see for the holidays from special food, shows and even fireworks! But most importantly, you can meet some of the LEGO characters, including a couple brand new ones. Christina from LEGOLAND came in this morning to talk about all the things you can do during the holiday season.

Interviews from backstage at KSON's Country Christmas!

Did you know that Tucker Wetmore almost made it to professional football before becoming a country singer? If it wasn't for an injury he could have been on the field instead of playing our sold out Country Christmas show. We talked to him backstage and asked him if he would rather be playing football still or singing.

Somehow John managed to find time in our busy weekend to put up his Christmas tree. He's very proud of how it looks, especially of two new ornaments that he was so excited about he had to send us a special video!

Megan Moroney has exploded into our next superstar in country music, as was evident by our sell out crowd at KSON's Country Christmas Saturday night. The good news is that she has some very special people giving her advice and guiding her along the way, including Kenny Chesney. We talked to her backstage before the show about Kenny being her mentor as well as what she does with those songs she writes that aren't so good.

John just about lost his brand new jacket at KSON's Country Christmas! During our chat with Tyler Braden backstage he mentioned how much he liked it and John gave it to him to try on. Did he ever get it back?
