John & Tammy: San Diego's Morning Show

John got to spend some time in Chicago over the Thanksgiving break, including spending some time in local taverns. The first one was a wonderful experience and it felt just like home. The second one.... well.... there was a little issue when they tried to leave and were stopped by a murder investigation!

That's how she ended up with burn blisters on three of her fingers on Thanksgiving! But our real question, was the Costco Thanksgiving meal kit worth the pain?

Listener Mike Harris is one of those people who is always trying to help the community. A retired Marine, Mike started a Toys 4 Tots drive with other local motorcyclists that has grown into a massive event. It's back this Sunday as the club gathers in El Cajon to make the ride to the Del Mar Fairgrounds to collect toys before the race. He joined us this morning to talk about this year's event and how you can be a part of it.

Did you know that San Diego has its own Lacrosse team? They're called the San Diego Seals and their season kicks off on December 1st. This morning we got a chance to chat with the captain Wes about his hopes for the team this season and why being a part of San Diego's team is a pretty good gig!
