John & Tammy: San Diego's Morning Show

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and in honor of that Papa Roach released a new song with Carrie Underwood with all the proceeds going to Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This is an unusual collaboration but for a very important cause. We talked to lead singer Jacoby Shaddix this morning about the song and how intimidating it is to sing alongside Carrie Underwood. 

There are certain country artists that are so good that other artists dread going on after them. Cody Johnson never wants to go on after Brothers Osbornce and in a funny turn of fate the Brothers never want to go on after Cody! Have you ever been to a show when the opening act stole the show from the headliner? 

We had our final drop off of mini donuts from The Mini Donut Company yesterday in Point Loma and we may have saved the best for last! What we were hoping for was to get some high fives, what we didn't expect was the custom sign to greet us! 

John had a little extra pep in his step this morning after the unbelievable ending to the Padres game last night. Our boys are headed to the postseason and clinched it in epid fashion! John broke down the game for us this morning and talked about why this win is so legendary! 

Yesterday, Producer Jessica told us that she was going on a taco tour when her best friends come to town in a couple weeks. Turns out, that was just the tip of the iceberg. She has a whole weekend itinerary, including a dress code for each activity! Do you have a Producer Jessica in your life? Has she gone too far? 

Morgan Wallen just broke the record for the biggest music weekend in the history of Knoxville with two shows at Neyland Stadium for over 150,000 people.  True or False:  Knoxville is the capital of Tennessee?

Taco News, Honor Flight San Diego and Tammy hates her license plate!

Producer Jessica is planning a girl's weekend with her best friends and was looking for a unique way to show them around San Diego. That's when she discovered that San Diego has a Taco Tour!!! How did we not know this was a thing?!?! 

Honor Flight San Diego is headed back to Washington DC this weekend with a plane full of 92 WWII, Korean, and Vietnam War Veterans, including 2 female Veterans. John and Tammy have both had the honor of being guardians for a veteran as they toured the monuments erected in their honor and would love to go again. But first, they must pass Holly's College of Honor Flight Knowledge!
